My name is Grace Tyler and I am a 17 year old senior in high school from Frisco, TX. I am a country singer/songwriter and I also play guitar. My faith in God is the most important thing in my life. My personal relationship with Christ helps me get through every day. I believe God has given me the gift of music and I want to use my gift to glorify Him!
When people ask how long I have been singing, my parents always reply "as long as she has been talking!" I grew up doing church choirs, school choirs, summer music camps and local kids karaoke nights. That started moving into a true passion for writing and performing country and Christian music. Music became my escape and I quickly found myself performing across the Dallas area, and at the age of 14 even winning a prominent local "Battle of the Legends" competition that spanned a couple of months and was open to all genres and ages. Winning that competition gave me the confidence I needed to continue pursuing music and performing.
Since then, I've been blessed to perform with amazing musicians across the DFW area, opening up for such artists as Randy Rogers, Radney Foster, The Los Lonely Boys, Pauline Reese, Mark McKinney, and was even able to play as part of the opening acts for Miranda Lambert at the "Off The Rails" country music festival. In 2017, I played over 50 shows and was selected in the Top 10 for the Nash Next DFW Competition and was featured on both 96.3 and 99.5 FM. Finally, even though I didn't make it to Hollywood YET, I made it to the celebrity judges round for American Idol and got a "Yes" from Luke Bryan! 2018 was also a great year. I released two new singles, was a finalist for Emerging Artist of the year for Texas Country Music Association, started headlining at venues that I was shocked to be opening at not long ago, and played in front of sold out crowds for Stoney LaRue, Mike Ryan, Parker McCollum, Max Stalling, Wade Bowen and more!
I'm so excited to see what this next year has in store! Lots of shows, new music, new recordings, developing more as an artist and moving to Nashville, TN this fall. I will be back at Off the Rails on May 5! Please check back with me often and be sure to follow me on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube.
Lots of love,
